Its Detentions Division is the direct source for local custody questions, including a possible transfer to the Chaffee County Detention Facility. Published records-counter hours exclude weekends and most federal holidays.

- For a booking report or photograph, begin with the county search and records path, then submit the official LCSO Records request.
- For current custody or a release alert, call Detentions and check Colorado VINE or the official sheriff app. Lake County has no verified browser roster.
- For a warrant, use the official resolution routes described under Most Wanted; do not rely on an unofficial listing.
- For the case outcome, contact Lake County Combined Court at 719-293-8100 ext. 9 or lakeclerks@judicial.state.co.us.
- For a Leadville police report, contact the Leadville Police Department at 800 Harrison Avenue or 719-486-1365.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Colorado Department of Corrections offender search. It is not a county booking source.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP or ICE locator. Neither locator provides Lake County booking photographs.
